A: No
Q: Are U.Genie email addresses still active?
A: Yes
Q: Can I access my U.Genie email via webmail.genie.co.uk?
A: No, You used to be able to but since genie's/02 upgrading of email
severs this is no longer possible.
Q: What ways are there of accessing my email account?
A (1): Via Outlook Express/Microsoft Outlook, by setting this up manually
using the mail server address “mail.u.genie.co.uk”
A (2): Signing up for a free account with Yahoo
http://mail.yahoo.co.uk which offers a check other mail feature it can
be used to check any POP based accounts online like Webmail.
A (3): Another provider offering a similar service is
http://www.btopenworld.com on Webmail offer a pickup feature where
again can check another email accounts. I suggest signing up for a BT
pay as you go account, which costs nothing.
A (4): Use the webmail link on this page or go to: www.mail2web.com
Please note to use all the above services you need to have three things:
1) POP3 Incoming Mail Address which is - mail.u.genie.co.uk
2) Username - The beginning of your email address. e.g. "username"
(username@u.genie.co.uk)
3) Your Password.
